Hurricane Daytona

Here it is people, the Hurricane Daytona, a 1969 Dodge Daytona that was unfortunately flooded during Hurricane Ian. I know you have seen the pics of the poor Superbird that was flipped upside down in the hurricane, well look closely and you will see this car sitting in front of the Superbird. Even though this car did not receive as much damage as the Superbird, it was still under salt water for 2 days and did get smashed into fences,Read more

2021 Challenger Super Stock

We just picked this one up from the insurance auction. 2021 Dodge Challenger Super Stock, 7475 miles, 5 oil changes, ceramic coated, ppf front, fully loaded and totaled. Sad story on this poor car. First owner took great care of it as did the second owner, however, after the second owner traded it in, things went badly for this Super Stock. The car ended up on a dealer lot in Hickory North Carolina, where one night, thieves broke into theRead more

1969 Charger SE Body Swap

In the works is this 1969 Charger SE, previously owned by David Patik (this was his High School Car). Dave drove this car daily around his home town of Cedar Rapids Iowa. This was after his mom drove it and his older brought drove it, so needless to say it was very well used and it was rusted very, very badly. Dave told me when I bought it that “this car is unsavable” and can be used for parts. HereRead more

1968 Charger RT

Originally from California, this 1968 Charger RT is in great shape. Looks like it was involved in an accident on the left front which, unfortunately, sent this car to the salvage yard. While in the salvage yard, it was stripped thoroughly and nearly destroyed by forklifts. The workers picked this car up by the roof, denting and stretching the roof panel quite badly, they stabbed forks through the floor and the right quarter panel which both have had to beRead more

1970 Hemi Superbird 4 Speed

This piece of Mopar Royalty graced our garage for a short time and we were sad to see it go. As a real Plymouth Superbird with the 426 Hemi engine and 4 speed transmission, this was a real rare one indeed. She was real, numbers matching and not in bad shape at all. Originally from California, the body was in great shape and had been stored away for most of its life. We really should have kept this one!Read more

1968 Hemi Charger

The latest addition to the Muscle Or Performance family is this real 1968 Charger RT, Hemi, 4 speed. With only 39k original miles, this car is in amazing shape and is one of the most original cars we have had. The body has never been apart, still wears its original sheet metal (except for the center of the trunk) and has never been wrecked or damaged. We know this cars history since new and it has had a pretty niceRead more

2013 Drag Pack Challenger

1969 Daytona Update

The 1969 Daytona has made some great progress. Marlon had the car for all of 2023 performing bodywork and applying the beautiful R4 red paint. Since its return we have wet sanded, buffed, paint corrected (more buffing) and have had the headliner installed. It will be returning in a few days so we can start the reassembly process. Next update will show a completed Daytona!! Stay tuned.Read more

Both cars need restoration, but are all there and have really good bones. FramesRead more

The Bluesmobile Goes Racing

You are familiar with our 1974 Dodge Monaco from previous posts, well, we have been having a bunch of fun with the Bluesmobile. As well as attending car shows and cruise ins, we have been competing in SCCA sanctioned Rally events. So far, we have completed 2 Rallys, placing 2nd in both events. Not too bad for a newbie team competing against some hardened pro rally teams. Some of these other teams have completed the Trans-African Rally, The Beijing toRead more
