For over 30 years, Matt Koops has been involved in restoring, racing and preserving classic cars.  Early on, his primary focus was racing, starting out with a 1965 Chevelle.  Through the late 80’s and early 90’s, Matt changed his focus to include high quality restorations and  he restored several highly awarded Corvettes.

In 2003, Matt took on another challenge, Mopars.  Focusing on one specific product line 1968 through 1970 Dodge Chargers, has allowed Muscle Or Performance Auto Restoration to become one of the most knowledgeable, efficient and skilled restoration companies in the industry.  Muscle Or Performance Auto Restoration has and can restore other makes and models including E Bodies, A Bodies and  C Bodies.

With proven accomplishments in the OEM restoration field, Muscle Or Performance Auto Restoration has expanded to include RESTO- MOD and Custom Builds.  The theme of our RESTO-MOD builds is to keep the beauty and design of the original cars exterior while upgrading the power train, suspension, brakes and creature comforts to current – modern day standards.
