You are familiar with our 1974 Dodge Monaco from previous posts, well, we have been having a bunch of fun with the Bluesmobile. As well as attending car shows and cruise ins, we have been competing in SCCA sanctioned Rally events. So far, we have completed 2 Rallys, placing 2nd in both events. Not too bad for a newbie team competing against some hardened pro rally teams. Some of these other teams have completed the Trans-African Rally, The Beijing to Belgium Rally, using these smaller US Rallys to hone their skills. The Bluesmobile is a force to be reckoned with due to the Police suspension, big block engine and overall tough, solid construction of this mid 70’s Mopar. To put it simply, this thing is a beast that no mountain or logging road will slow down. We are signed-up for our third rally which starts in two weeks! Wish us luck.
