In the works is this 1969 Charger SE, previously owned by David Patik (this was his High School Car). Dave drove this car daily around his home town of Cedar Rapids Iowa. This was after his mom drove it and his older brought drove it, so needless to say it was very well used and it was rusted very, very badly. Dave told me when I bought it that “this car is unsavable” and can be used for parts. Here at Muscle Or Performance, we will try to save a car, no matter how badly they are damaged or rusted. The plan for this one is to cut what is left of the frame and floors out and sit the shell on top of a 2016 Challenger Hellcat chassis. This is no easy task and will take some time. Unfortunately, as we were moving along on this project, I had an accident which has kept me from working on this project. We are hoping to get back on this project by the end of the year. On a side note, before Dave passed away, I informed him that we were saving his 1969 Charger SE. Dave was very passionate about his cars and after hearing this news Dave got a little emotional and I could see that saving this car really touched his heart. This one is for you Dave!
